Fritz Gelato served up 1000’s of gelato to those celebrating World Vegan Day. The festival was held on Sunday 26th October at the beautiful, heritage-listed Abbotsford Convent. Fritz makes over 40 vegan friendly sorbets that are also suitable for vegetarians, coeliacs and are 100% fat-free! More information available at www.wvd.org.au

The results are in, it’s official, Fritz Gelato IS THE BEST! Fritz won 4 medals at the 2008 Royal Melbourne Fine Foods Awards. The results were:

Fritz Gelato won two awards at the presentation dinner at Albert Park Lake last night. We were joined by the Prahran Market and Food House Deli who also won in their catagories. This is the second year we have won the best Convenience Food catagory in Stonnington.

The Leader Business Achiever of the Year is awarded to the finalist business that achieves the highest combined finalist questionnaire and mystery shop audit scores for their Leader Business Achiever Awards region.

The girls at Melbourne Girls Grammar School enjoyed some Fritz Gelato at lunch. The mobile gelato stall was hired for a fundraising event to raise money for Oxfam.
